we're gonna be looking at the 15 facts you didn't know about pubg so this is gonna be a list of a bunch of things that you probably did not know about this game.
15. New vikendi map features .
so this is going to be the original concept of the vikendi map and if you compare the early concept build with the one that we have now these are completely different I mean that kind of thing is to be expected right a lot of the constant maps they're just like the regular outer skeleton of the final build of the map that we normally get but with things like Miramar and even sanic like the the original concept was so closer to the finished product then Vikendi was it looks like the candy is more like erangled structured and in the way that the environment is laid out however there's a snowy mountaintop and maybe that was only where the snow existed like the rest of it was kind of like a greenish brownish like Tundra that's what it appears to be like in this image although I will say that looks like there's like a frozen lake at the top of the map as well and so it's like a lot of this has been restructured and redone for regular Vikendi of course .
14. Smg and pistol attachments are completely interchangeable.
A new gameplay featured that they just low-key slipped into a patch that not a lot of people knew about except for like the most you know hardcore players and this is the fact that now SMG and pistol attachments are completely interchangeable so this means these specific attachments for like SMG or pistol suppressors and the same thing with magazines can now be applied to both types of weapons meaning there's a greater fluidity between the two and that's great because it makes those attachments a little bit more useful especially because people run SMGs a lot more and also the fact that you can now put these stock not just only on the m4 in the vector anymore it can go on the m16 it can go on the mutant which is a great help to both these weapons and then also finally holographic sights can now be added to pistols which is not something I can say I recommend too much but it's especially better than iron sights and certainly if you're gonna be running the desert eagle then either a red dot or a holo is a way to go with these weapons .
13. Crossbow used to have its own grip now .
The crossbow used to have its own grip now you might be familiar with this attachment you might not be but the crossbow did indeed used to have a grip for it now the details of it I'm not entirely sure on but what's interesting and why I bring this up is the fact that a lot of people seem to think that this attachments coming back very soon they could have removed it because it was one of those things that players just weren't using or maybe it didn't affect the weapon too much as far as I can tell the only thing would really help with maybe is ATS speed or like you know centering and balancing the weapon a bit better now really the only crossbow specific attachment is the quiver and you know that just gonna help you reload speed which is nice if you're gonna be running the crossbow but if you can combine it with this grip and maybe it could be a weapon that's a little bit more viable .

12. Ballistic mask face accessory.
The ballistic mask face accessory on this game now this was one of those things that a lot of players believed that this would provide face protection but in all reality it doesn't do anything it's just for looks but apparently when pubg was originally developing the armor system the ballistic mask was supposed to at least provide some protection especially in the face and neck area but from what it seems like with the complexity of the armored system in this game the way that the tiers work and then with the vests and helmets the ballistic mask just wasn't going to gel with these two I believe the idea was that the ballistic mask was kind of gonna be like the protection for the neck area as the neck and the head are actually different hit boxes and the neck doesn't get any protection except if you're wearing a level 3 helmet .

11 exosuit leaked or not.
This got leaked around a year ago and it was an item that was like an exoskeleton and we had no idea what to make of it it was one of these strangest things that was ever reported to be coming to pubg but it never happened now of course the details on this exosuit thing whatever it is is very limited but we don't know we have to assume who's probably either a costume that was going to be added to the game or some kind of actual item I think in this case you gotta assume the most logical explanation of this where it's just like some kind of weird costume design but it's possible that it also could have been something more now after this originally leaked and then people freaked out about it because they thought that pubg was going to do they were going up in a weird direction people were concerned like this got removed and this vanished so fast and that's the only reason that part of me thinks that it was something more than just a cosmetic item because for them to backpedal that fast means it was probably something more .
10. Upgraded version of ghillie suit.
There was an upgraded version of the ghillie suit in erangle remastered. Now the weird thing about this is it's a visually updated version of the ghillie suit which probably look-like a lot more put together and stuff like that, erangle remastered ghillie suit ended up somehow bleeding its way into the regular version of erangle , so basically there was a remaster to clothing item into the old version of the build of ergo which is really weird now , that I'll let you guys know and I'll update you but regardless the grated ghillie suit will be coming when erangle remastered officially drops and it won't be put into the wrong map .
9. Savin map new version sanic coming out.
Before it was actually sanic now you may remember playing this version of the map on the experimental test server when it was called Savin and what you can see pretty clearly from the earlier version of this map is number one the layout is basically the same like the entire structure of the island however the terrain you can see is very different and it seems to be like there's a lot more variety from taller mountains to more like farmland it seems like and while sanic how can you listen I love sanic as much as the next guy and I do think it's a good map however what I will say is it feels like the environment is kind of much the same you know what I mean like even in maps like erangle and Miramar there's still instances of the map that just looked completely different from the rest of the field and in my opinion a lot of that variety is missing from Santa but well I really do love the layout of the map.

8.From two grips to a five grips in pubg mobile .
you might remember if you're a very early player of this game that there were only two grips available to you the vertical and the angled so the choice was like pretty simple for most weapons and that all changed when the new three grips got added the thumb the half grip in the light grip now all of these kind of worked properly except for one the light grip may have been the most broken attachment in the entire game now as you guys know as a general rule of thumb it's always better to have some grip rather than no grip right at least in most cases but with the light grip that was not the case this grip unfortunately made every single gun regardless of how you're using it worse myself included and a lot of players kind of thought this was a joke you know what I mean we thought that this is like a grip that you would wear if you wanted an extra challenge of your weapons now clearly that was not their original intention and since then the light grip has been fixed and it's really good for single tapi weapons.
7.The original design of the zone in the pubg was supposed to be a square not circle .
you know the way that the zone works is that it's a circle that closes in and that's it's a pretty straightforward concept right every single big PR right now works on the mechanic that the zone is a circle and that closes into a smaller and smaller ring until there's only one player remaining you know that's it's a it's a pretty straightforward thing but and the original design of pubg the zone was supposed to be square like I'm not kidding the map was still going to be like it was gonna operate how it still does but the zone was going to be as square rather than a circle and closed off into like a cubical shape the reason they didn't do it is because it provided a lot of programming challenges and so they just decided to go with the easier route and make it a circle but what I find so fascinating about this is imagine pubg did have their zone as a square you know since the beginning of the game what all of the other games that came after that were influenced by pubg would every BR now be operating on a square system rather than a ring .
6. Haystacks can now run through vehicles and it can also be burned down with molotovs.
when you're playing erangle remastered and this comes out whenever these final updates get rolled out to pubg the fact that now these haystacks that are in the field can now be ran through with vehicles and it can also be burned down with molotovs basically these were indestructible before but now you can completely break them down using vehicles you can blow them up with a grenade again you can broke them down with the Molly however you cannot shoot through them so if you've gotten used to using these things as cover especially when you're playing in an open field when ergo master comes out that's gonna be no more as these things are now like targets for being destroyed now there's still only a couple of things that you can destroy in this game like those little like wooden shacks and also these hay bales everything else is still like indestructible which is you know important to know but this is definitely crucial information for you're gonna be playing the new map.
5.In earlier pubg there was a water but it was not available.
when erangle was the only map you know that there are two bridges that you know cross a body of water that you need to get from one side to the other or at lease to use the water itself you know what I'm saying like you don't maybe have to use the bridge but at least you have the opportunity to swim however that didn't used to be the case before swimming was even like ready in pubg the water surrounding the island and all the access points that you could use to get in the water itself was blocked off this was a very very temporary thing just because the swimming Ken had got finished pretty early on in the game it didn't take too long but at one point during this game's lifespan the water was just there but it was not available and so that completely changed the way that you would play every map in this game and especially erangle.
4. Red zone was going to be removed by pubg earlier .
number four this is gonna be regarding the red zone now a lot of players just really hate this as a mechanic and I understand why although I do think it has some kind of purpose in this game but according to Brendan green the red zone was a feature that was just straight-up gonna be removed because players literally hated it so much and I think just because the players didn't really know how it worked or how to know play against it as it's not that big of a deal and you shouldn't be dying to the red zone hardly .
3. Pan in pubg is certainly happen by the glich and stays forever in the game.
The glorious amazing pan now apparently for what we know this was not supposed to have its effect that we currently see in the game what was going to happen was this was just a random melee weapon that when applied to the back was a glitch where it was blocking bullets basically pubg Corp just saw this as just like a funny glitch and decided to leave it in now it's become such a staple of this game that I can't imagine playing pubg with the pan not doing what it does you know what I'm saying it's one of those things that certainly helped make pubg famous and stand out as a br at least it's one component of it and so I don't think this bug which I guess technically it is is ever gonna change but I'm okay with them used to at this point I think most players would agree .

2. Level 4 armor in some capacity ha been testing .
pubg Corp level four armor in some capacity has been testing oh don't get too excited because this kind of thing happens with game development all the time there's a lot of features that they just try out at the studio that are never gonna see the light of day and if pubg were to add level four armor to the game this was good like it'd basically require complete work of how a lot of the weapons work and so I don't expect this thing to happen anytime soon but it's going to kind of think about what level four armor could be there's probably a build of it or some kind of internal concept at pubg itself but that your word is never ever going to see.
1. Melee takedown can be a feature .
Melee takedowns are supposed to be a part of this now this is probably the coolest thing that pubg has ever thought about doing that just is is gone as far as I can tell and I don't know if it's ever gonna be reinstated melee takedowns were gonna be a feature these takes downs we're gonna be like an animation where you could use if you like sneak up on an enemy and you can do this little like one-shot tactic to them the animation of this looks absolutely incredible but unfortunately it's probably never gonna happen .
